Building Digital Confidence

Our training is inclusive and flexible, with both 1:1 sessions and group workshops available to suit different learning needs, abilities, goals, and support requirements. Every session is hands-on and focused on real-life skills that support daily living, communication, independence, and community participation.

TMI’s NDIS digital literacy programs are designed to support participants across all levels of support coordination and participant complexity, including:

  • Level 1  — Support Connection

  • Level 2 — Coordination of Supports

  • Level 3 — Specialist Support Coordination

For participants supported under Levels 1 and 2, our training is designed to build essential digital confidence and practical everyday technology skills. Programs provide step-by-step, real-world digital learning that helps participants safely use devices, access online services, improve communication, strengthen independence, build social connection, and increase readiness for employment and everyday life.

For participants supported under Level 3, TMI can deliver advanced support and assistive technology training tailored specifically for those with higher or more complex needs. This includes customised learning approaches and accessible technology solutions designed to maximise independence, participation, and inclusion. Support may involve adaptive hardware and assistive tools such as communication devices, touchscreen systems, voice-control technology, screen readers, sensory-friendly digital tools, and other accessibility-focused solutions.

Technology has become an essential part of everyday life—from staying connected with family and support networks, to managing appointments, accessing services, and enjoying entertainment.

For many NDIS participants and support workers, however, technology can sometimes feel unfamiliar, overwhelming, or difficult to navigate.

TMI turns complexity into confidence.

TMI’s NDIS digital literacy training includes areas such as:

  • Device skills and digital confidence

  • Everyday digital independence

  • Basic Microsoft skills

  • File, photo, and data management

  • Employment and real-world readiness

  • Practical digital scenarios for daily life

  • Assistive technology and accessible digital tools

…and more, all tailored to individual goals, plans, abilities, and experience.

We deliver simple, friendly, and practical technology training for NDIS participants and support teams, helping build confidence, independence, participation, and inclusion in an increasingly digital world.
